Exercise a Movie and the Street Fair.

Looking at the lovelys.
We had a day of freedom from the back and leg pain, so we were lucky enough to make a full day of it. We went to exercise class at the Elks Club and as soon as it was over, Paula smiled and said, I wana go to the movie. Of course I responded with an "Are You Sure Look" She said I have no pain at all and I want to play. We went home purchased tickets online and made the 3:40 showing of " The Help "  a referral from Paula's friend from 3rd grade Mardy. What a great movie, probably an academy award winner for sure. We stepped out of the show on to the street and the Street Fair was in full force. We walked across the street and joined in , listening to some musicians playing a guitar and flute. Then worked our way along the multitude of booths with anything you can think of and food from any walk of life, including many local restaurants which surprised us. Of course musicians strategically place throughout. You sort of get the feeling your in a third world market place.

So the Street Fair is called Sunset Market.

Oh, and there is no lack of people , hence "the sport of people watching".

Of course we have to pass by the Surf Museum.

It seems to be popular to bring your puppy.

Wine trinkets, and the such.

Some got prime people watching seats.

Another happy puppy.

Now this is very tempting , Paula made the comment "We have to come back soon to get the chicken on the stick. We couldn't endulge because we stuffed ourselves on the excellent popcorn and coke in the movies.

Balloon man, not pictured is the line of kids.

The kiddie slide.

Well we almost made it, the evil pain monster returned after about an hour of  walking and gaulking . We turned the corner and headed to the car.

A quick close up, of my wify.

As we turned the corner , more musicians , this time with a motive , lure customers to the  Salon.

We almost got ran over by a bicyclist named Lee Covil, one of our business neighbors  from the Business Park.  An excellent Artisan Cabinet maker also. I met Lee on a job I contracted in 1998 down in Old Del Mar.

As we turned the corner for one little cruise along the beach  we were greeted with this beautiful sunset at the Pier. Now then , maybe that's why they named it Sunset Market.

It was a very good day.
